Reporting a correction
Accuracy matters to us, and reader reports are the fastest way to fix an error. To help us check it quickly, include:
- The page URL, for example https://usstatemap.com/ohio/.
- The error: what the page says and what you believe is correct.
- A source link, ideally an official one such as the U.S. Census Bureau, USGS or a state government website.
The data sources behind our maps are listed on the About & sources page.
Using our maps
- Free: personal, classroom and other non-commercial use, including worksheets, school projects and presentations.
- Ask first: commercial use, such as maps in products for sale, paid publications or advertising. Email us with a short description of the project.
Suggesting a map
Tell us which map you need and how you would use it. Requests for maps that are missing from the site help decide what we build next.
